VISIT TO COSMETIC AND PERFUMERY COMPANIES IN VALENCIA AND BARCELONA OF THE COSM_EAU PROJECT

The COSM_EAU project is co-financed by the European Union and the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, as part of the 2022 call for Innovative Business Groups (AEI) (2nd call). It is a feasibility study where col· the Feeling Innovation by Stanpa, GAIA and the CWP clusters work to promote innovative projects to respond to the challenges of efficient water management in the cosmetics sector through digital technologies. During the months of November and December, two conferences were held where the partners of the CWP: Telwesa, e-Watts, MF Tecnima, EMECO, Derypol and Sensotec, presented their successful cases of water solutions and digitization applied to the cosmetic sector. Also, as part of the COSM_EAU project, on January 24, 25 and 26, a total of 8 companies from the cosmetics and perfumery sector in Catalonia and Valencia were visited. The aim of these visits has been to carry out individualized diagnoses in order to identify the main water cycle processes involved, their degree of digitization and related problems and challenges. The next steps of the project will allow the organization of working groups with specialized companies in the water and digitization sector together with cosmetics and perfumery companies. They will also involve identifying cooperation projects between the sectors, the organization of a day and the preparation of a guide with successful cases.
