Trip to South Africa Within the framework of the SENTINEL project

Within the framework of the SENTINEL project (Co-funded by the COSME Program of the European Union) the CWP has led a trip to South Africa with the aim of knowing the market with key entities in the country and identifying opportunities within the framework of the hospitality sector. Specifically, the mission took place in Johannesburg during the celebration of the WATER SHOW Africa 2019 where the CWP held a paper to present projects, innovations and activities in the framework of water treatment and reuse, as well as example, the projects WATERTUR, Hydrousa and the own SENTINEL or the solutions of associate entities like for example, KEIKEN and CREATECH. During the mission, where the entity associated to the CWP KEIKEN engineering also participated, 7 meetings were held with representatives of Cape Town government entities, research centers, companies in the water sector, associations of the hospitality sector and hotel chains of the country, among others. This trip is part of the WP2 of the SENTINEL project, where trips have also been made to the United States, UAE, Morocco and Mexico, which have been led by the other 3 clusters involved in the project.
