The Catalan Water Partnership organizes a mision to Colombia between May 27 and 30, with the suport of ACCIO, which has the aim to promote cooperation with the important network of clusters in Colombia, through the Red Cluster Colombia, the Consejo Privado de Competitividad and Impulsa Colombia. In this mision where 7 companies of the CWP and a univeristy are involved, it is planned to present the model  of Catalan and Colombian clusters, as well as promote potencial partnerships between clusters and companies. The 11 participing clusters from Colombia bring together more than 1.700 companies in sectors such as food, textiles, metal-mechanic, petrochemical, among others, and present challenges related to water managemenet, purification, the circular economy and the efficiency of the processes where water intervens. The meetings will be held in Bogotá and Cartagena de Indias, allowing to know the two important poles in the impulse of the cluster in the country and promote possible inter-cluster and cross-sectorials innovative projects.  Moreover, the CWP will also participate in the 62nd ACODAL congres with which it has signed an agreement of cooperation and some conferences on innovative technologies in water management by the CWP companies. The participing entities of the CWP are DAM, KEIKEN, UNEX, PROTECMED, LAVOLA, GLOBAL OMNIUM and the University of Girona.
