This proposal prepared during 2018 and 2019, has been approved at the end of 2019, and will begin during 2020. The aim of the SEA4VALUE project is to obtain raw materials from the waste material of desalination plants. Throughout the project, new methodologies for the recovery of brine minerals and metals will be validated, and the economic and technical viability will be demonstrated. SEA4VALUE represents a new value proposition in order to convert some of the materials currently discarded as waste into resources with economic value.

Participants: Fundació Eurecat, AQUALIA. It has a total of 15 partners from Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Ukraine, the Netherlands and Finland.
