About This Project

The aim of this project was to develop a technology solution that enables multi-technological treatment of liquid waste (manure) from the activities of pig farms.

The project included the participation of Laboratori d’ànalysis Dr. Borrell, the University of Girona and treatment of effluents WEHRLE UMWELT, S.A. (TELWESA).

Specifically, the project was developed in three distinct phases:

Phase 1. Validation of the technologies.
Phase 2. Definition of operating conditions and proposals conditioning technology.
Phase 3. Defining the final design of the prototype technology.

The project was carried out between 2015 and 2016 and was funded by the AEI’s MINETUR.
