18 Nov Companies associated with the CWP participate in the study of Public Purchases in France of the water sector
On November 15, the presentation of the Opportunity Study in France in Public Purchase was carried out by ACCIO’s international public procurement area and was attended by Víctor Mercè, International Public Procurement Manager of the Internationalization Unit of ACCIO, and Carole Egea, Directive of projects internationalization Catalonia Trade & Investment ACCIO and the CWP.
The study, available only to CWP partners, has allowed us to know some opportunities for companies in the water sector in one of the most proximate markets, and although it already has an important presence of Catalan companies, it still presents needs in which Catalan companies can be competitive. Among the most important are the functioning of the market, public procurement processes, barriers to entry, accessibility to information, stakeholders and competition or recommendations in the field of business strategy, and also proposed some actions such as the realization of, a technical mission to Montpellier with Aquavalley, the water cluster in the South of France or the involvement of several Pollutec associates.
At the moment, work has begun with some CWP companies on some individual opportunities to explore based on their study.
