The Wat’savereuse project of the European LIFE + call has been approved

Last July the WAT’SAVEREUSE project participated by CWP and financed by the European LIFE + call was approved. This is already the 6th European project participated by CWP, together with the projects: GSSC, WELLIANCE, SEA4VALUE, GALATEA and HYDROUSA.

The objective of WAT’SAVEREUSE is to promote the circular economy in relation to the tourism sector, through the establishment of good practices for the reduction of uses and the promotion of reuse initiatives.

The project has a consortium of 9 participants from Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and Occitania and is coordinated by the Euroregion, including partners from the Eureca water cluster and the Catalan Water Agency.

The project will promote collaborations between the supply sector (water sector companies with advanced solutions) and end users, as well as public entities and other representative actors of the tourism sector to highlight the benefits of water reuse and the opportunities that the implementation of this type of initiatives can bring to the sector.
