In January 2019, the 6 projects included in the RIS3CAT Water Community have begun its second year of execution. This community has a budget of more than 12 million euros, and more than 30 entities associated to the CWP participate. In order to evaluate the advances that took place during the past 2018 in each project of the Community, the fourth quarterly follow-up meeting was held on February 7, 2019, at the Parc Científic i Agroalimentari de Lleida , where the project advances in common were put together during the last quarter and the next lines of action that will be carried out throughout 2019.

In the context of this meeting, the CWP also announced the latest activities that have been carried out in the execution of the WATERTUR project, which is coordinated by the CWP itself and has a presspost of more than 1.5 million euros. In the coming months, the WATERTUR consortium will begin work on new tasks in order to set up pilot systems for monitoring and water treatment in the facilities of the rural village of Sant Hilari.
